These involve multi-agent architectures where AI agents collaboratively handle various business functions such as customer service, supply chain management, and fraud detection. Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) are key examples of emergent organizations using blockchain technology to enable transparent and self-governing structures often applied to software projects and investment ventures.

This chapter examines the technical and organizational building blocks: agent architectures, cognitive capabilities, multi-agent orchestration, organizational models, interoperability protocols, and blockchain-AI convergence.
